# Can I start my own bookkeeping business?

**Yes.** Many students join AKUK with the goal of starting their own bookkeeping business.

The programme explains the practical steps involved, including registrations, compliance, client work and using accounting software in real-life situations.

Although no course can guarantee business success, our aim is to help you build the knowledge and confidence to start working with clients.
